Meet STEEL
STEEL is a 5 year old mixed breed taken in on 11/17/23 with another lost dog.
As soon as his kennel gate is open, Steel is ready to roll. His opening gait is strong and full steam ahead, but eventually slows, becoming more meandering as scents begin to overwhelm his nose. Once Steel indulges his senses, this nose to the ground doggie is a good walker. He's a sweetheart who loves to be petted. While Steel didn't sit on command, he will come up, sit next to you on his own and sit there as long as you pet him. Steel adores being loved on. He also loves treats and takes them gently. His adoption fee is $150 and helps cover the cost of his neuter, vaccinations, worming, monthly heart worm and flea preventive, microchip and care while at CCHS. At intake, Steel tested positive for Lyme disease and has been treated. If you like a low riding love bug, then this guy's for you!
