Stark Bull Terrier Calgary, AB

This is Stark. A spunky, crazy, but lovable boy.

Stark is 3.5 years old and is an english bull terrier, and he was born deaf. Don’t let that that fool you though, because he can listen (when he wants to of course) as he is trained using sign language for his basic commands. He is also e-collar trained, so he is able to run off leash and still have a recall. He’s crate trained and house broken as well. He is your typical bully breed. He’s extremely smart, but too smart for his own good and knows when he is being stubborn and not listening. Also loves going for walks and playing fetch and tug-of-war. He has loads of energy, but once he’s tired he just wants to cuddle and be around his people.

He has recently started showing aggression towards an older dog to the point where they need to be separated. I believe this has to do with him not getting enough exercise/ mental stimulation that he needs and is finding some other way to take out his frustrations. So, I do believe with the right balance of all his exercise needs met, this issue potentially may not be an issue for someone else? But to be on the safe side, I would say he would needs to be the only dog in the house. He also has quite bad environmental skin allergies and is on a monthly injection to help keep it at ease. These allergies aren’t as apparent in the winter time.
