Iris Terrier Mix Oklahoma City, OK

Iris is a young adult female who was born around the beginning of 2019. She became a Misfit because she was a stray that was hit by a car. The kind motorist stopped, picked her up, and took her to a local shelter. Thankfully, the accident did only minor damage, but she was terrified and very pregnant! She gave birth a couple of weeks later in her foster home, was a terrific Mom, and is now just friends with the pups as they are long weaned and adoptable themselves. Iris is spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and microchipped.

Iris has proved to be a lovely companion. She is house trained, crate trained, and lovingly affectionate, but also playful. She still likes to chew on things (any things!) so we are ever watchful and ready to swap out an OK toy for a not so okay pair of glasses or house shoe at all times! She gets along great with all the other dogs and cats in the foster home and has never been the least aggressive. She will happily share the couch with anyone.
