Star is a resilient middle aged dog who has had a tough start to life. She came in very thin with brittle hair and would greatly benefit from a high quality diet to help her gain some weight and get into tip top shape! Her past may have left her with some emotional scars, but with patience, understanding and lots of love, she's ready to overcome any obstacle. Star's ideal home is one filled with warmth, love, and stability. She would thrive in a calm and nurturing environment where she can receive the attention and care she deserves. A fenced yard would be a bonus, as Star enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring her surroundings, and basking in the sun. She would do best in a home without young children or other pets, as she prefers to be the center of attention and may feel overwhelmed in busy or chaotic environments.
