Star Corgi & Shepherd Mix Unionville, CT

Star is a friendly 15 week old girl with mesmerizing eyes and a loving personality. Like her mom Lucille (shown in the photos), Star is a cute little low-rider. We aren’t quite sure what Star and her littermates breed mix is, but their mom Lucille looks like she could be a corgi shepherd mix, and several of the pups look labby.
Momma Lucille, visibly pregnant, was left at a shelter by a family who didn't want to take care of her or her puppies. It turned out to be a very lucky day for all of them however, because one of our amazing foster families heard about Lucille and made arrangements to go get her from the shelter right away. Lucille arrived to the safety of her foster home at 10am and was delivering her babies by 2:30pm that same day.
Star’s foster dad says “Star is calm for a puppy, but she likes to play with other dogs and the neighborhood kids as well. She doesn’t pay any attention to the cat when he walks by. We’ve started her on potty training and leash training and she’s doing very well.”
Star weighs about 20 pounds. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all vaccines and preventives, and ready for a forever family to bring her home. If you’d like to adopt Star, please email
