Spunky Mastiff Mix Sioux City, IA

Meet Spunky, a 6 year old Mastiff mix. Spunky is neutered and fully vaccinated. He was picked up on Sep 28th as a stray and he spent 69 days at Animal Control until one of our fosters pulled him Dec 5th. He is big dog weighing 85 pounds and stands a bit taller than most all other dogs. Spunky is a mature dog so he exhibits no puppy-like behavior. He loves to run and play with other dogs. He is not kenneled in his foster home. He currently lives with two other dogs and everyone gets along great. He is not a fan of cats and like most dogs, he will chase rabbits, deer and squirrels. He is really quite the gentle giant. Spunky has likely endured a number of hard years with evidence of frostbite on his ears but today he is a happy and heathy dog. He gets along great with his housemate Skye (the small brown dog in the pics) who is also a Noah’s Hope foster dog. Spunky walks great on leash! Spunky has not exhibited any aggression but is very motivated by food/treats. He has pulled a few things off the table and countertops so you gotta be careful about leaving food out within his reach. Spunky needs to catch a break and would love to find his forever home……and he would love to live with another dog……
