Meet Spector
Spector is a prime example of a big baby. This sweet boy is ~10 months old and ~45 lbs! He believes he is a lap dog and will try to cuddle up on your lap. He is treat motivated and will sit for a cookie. He is also currently attempting to understand the "lay down" command and he is on the right track. If you ask him to jump up, he will try to jump up into your arms. When it comes to leash manners, he does not attempt to pull in a calm environment. If another dog is barking, he will pull towards the other dog, but can be re-directed easily. Tennis balls are fun to play with and he will bring the ball back when asked! When meeting other dogs, he would do best with a dog-neutral dog or a submissive dog. We are unsure of his history with cats or kids as he had come in as a stray.
He is fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. He is $175 to bring home!
If you are interested, please call the shelter at (541) 474-5458. You can view more adoptable pets at www.jocoshelter.com/adoptions . Walk-ins are welcome, however we highly recommend calling first to check on availability and location (some animals may be offsite or unavailable). Appointments are recommended to reduce wait times, especially for dogs. Thank you!
