Meet Sparky
Sparky is such a sweet guy once he trusts you, and treats are the way to his heart. But he does have a case of stranger danger. He will need a home committed to helping him over come that, and to work on obedience training. He doesn’t appear to even know the basics.
Sparky was adopted from us about a year and a half ago, but was recently returned because as their puppy grew (puppy was adopted from us before Sparky) Sparky became reactive to him. However we went to daycare and played well with dogs his size. He loves loves loves to play, and loves his toys.
He seems to be mostly house trained, but a new home should always expect for there to be growing pains as they learn cues and new routines.
When we originally pulled him from animal control he was so shut down and shy, but he opened up and became a very happy dog as soon as he was in a home.
Due to his uncertainty of new people, a home with low activity would probably be in his best interest.
