Sparkle is a year and a half year old Hound mix that came to us through The Shelter Connection’s Rescue Program from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. Sparkle is a super sweet girl but currently very shy and nervous in her new surroundings. Sparkle does seem to enjoy walking on our nature trail and will seek affection from you despite being nervous. We recently learned that when she is with another dog she completely transforms! She loves playing and interacting with other dogs, and in turn gives her a bit more confidence. We believe Sparkle’s ideal home would be a family with another well-mannered but confident dog that can “show her the ropes” with no young children.
