Spanky Dachshund & Yorkshire Terrier Mix Oklahoma City, OK

This little cutie is Spanky!

Spanky is an approximately 10-month old male Dachshund/Yorkshire Terrier mix and weighs around 9 lbs. (he may gain up to a pound more). He was surrendered to the rescue when his owner could no longer care for him.

Spanky is an adorable, playful, friendly, and affectionate little guy! He is a velcro dog and will stay by you most of the time! So if you want a constant little companion to keep you company, Spanky is your guy! He loves affection and will thrive if made a family member and be included in activities.

Spanky is good with other dogs and wants to play with them, but sometimes he likes to just entertain himself with a chew bone or toy. No idea how he would be with cats, but most likely he would want to chase them.

Spanky would love a home with a very securely fenced back yard for him to run and sniff in! He loves being with his people, but he is not a couch potato, so he will need regular exercise. He will also require occasional grooming, so that needs to be budgeted in for his costs of upkeep.

Spanky is crate trained (will go in on command). He will need continued assistance with house and leash training, and would do best with a harness when walking.

Spanky is neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200.
