Spaghetti Australian Shepherd & Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix Argyle, NY

Spaghetti is a 1.5 year old spayed female Aussie/Catahoula. She is petite, no more than 40 lbs. From her foster - “Spaghetti is a low to medium energy dog. She loves attention and everyone she meets, especially kids! She has been around people with walkers and they don’t scare her at all. She has become a cuddle bug. She is a small dog so she is perfect fit for a lap. She is still afraid of loud vehicles on the road but other loud sounds don’t bother her anymore. She has built up her confidence tremendously since we have had her. She loves to play with her foster brother and other dogs. At the PetSmart event she got along well with all of the dogs she met. She is also happy to just lay down and take a nap. She rides great in the car and loves going for rides. She has no guarding issues with food or toys. She gets very excited to learn new tricks and is treat motivated. She walks well on leash and doesn’t pull. We are working on off. She goes into her crate now on her own especially at bed time. Once in her crate she settles down immediately and never cries. She is house trained and sleeps all night in her crate. Want to Adopt? 1) Fill out an application on theluckypuppy.org The adoption fees for puppies up to 12 months are a minimum donation of $600, (dogs too young to be fixed will have an extra $200 deposit, refundable pending your spay/neuter agreement), 1 year and up are a minimum donation of $500, 7+ years or special needs are a minimum $400 donation 2) Once your application is in, our adoption coordinator will contact you and complete a vet check and home visit (possibly electronic). 3) Once approved, please schedule a meet and greet to see the dogs. Meet and greets are by appointment only for approved adopters.

Spaghetti is available in NY through the Go North Program of The Lucky Puppy Rescue, rescue based in Bonifay and Panama City, FL and adoption center in Argyle NY (NY Lic #1054). The minimum donation $500 adoption fee includes transportation from FL to NY, spay/neuter surgery or spay/neuter agreement (if too young), up to date with: age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention (if old enough) and martingale safety collar.
