Meet South

Hello world! My name is South and I am looking for a wonderful home of my very own! I am about a year and a half old and I weigh about 69 pounds, but I need to gain some weight. I have the most beautiful sleek black coat and very expressive eyes. I love to get attention and cuddle. I walk well on leash and I ride well in the car. I know sit, down, lay on a mat, come when called, hand touch, and a few other behaviors. I am crate trained and I appear to be house broken. I am looking for a family that is willing to commit to continuing my positive reinforcement training with me. I can sometimes get nervous of new people and situations, so my new people will need to help introduce me to my surroundings slowly at times. I love playing with other dogs and I think a canine playmate with my energy level would be quite fun! I have never been around kitties, so a feline-free home would be best. A would thrive in a home with older teens/adults who will give me plenty of walks and play time. I am a gorgeous girl with lots of love to give, could you be the right family for me?
