Sonny Carisi Yorkshire Terrier Mix Palatine, IL

Calling all fans of “Law & Order,” we’ve got your Sonny Carisi right here; though his name should be spelled “Sunny” because he is a bundle of sunshine and happiness! This little 8-lb Yorkie mix, about 9 years old, has incredible energy and endurance for his age. He loves long walks, a moderate amount of snuggling and the ability to move with you from room to room. Sonny will quietly sleep in his crate at night and not make noise in the morning, letting you catch a few extra ZZZs when you need to. That said, if you happen to have a Sonny-sized spot in your bed, he’ll happily fill it in.

He may be feline-size but he is not feline-friendly. But he loves all dogs and adult people. Children are fine but probably best that they be school aged or older as the sudden sounds and movements of littles can sometimes startle him. Sonny would love a home where someone can be around through most of the day to let him out when he needs and help him with house training. Reward Sonny with small bits of chicken or turkey, or anything easy for him to chew considering he recently had 18 teeth removed.
