Meet Sokka

Meet SOKKA! Sokka, his 2 siblings and Mom were dumped on a busy road in Willis. A kind neighbor took all 5 dogs in so they wouldn't be run over or die from lack of food. The 4 puppies and Mom are all super sweet and adorable Mom and 3 of the puppies have been adopted. Sokka is the only puppy that is left and he is absolutely adorable. He loves to play, eats very well, and is learning to love toys. Sokka has received his first set of vaccines and dewormer. Sokka would make an amazing family dog as he is extremely smart. We know he is probably german shepherd but we have no idea the other mix. Probably terrier because Mom is a terrier. If you are interested please get your application in quickly as Sokka will be adopted quickly.
In many cases, the cost of vetting services is greater than the adoption contribution. The adoption contributions help defray the costs of vetting services, but rarely, if ever, cover all expenses. Additional donations are welcomed and appreciated. Please consider making a donation to help offset medical expenses.

GDRST will have the following services completed as part of the adoption process. Each animal will be spayed or neutered ( except for puppies), fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, heartworm treated if applicable, fecal tested, de-wormed, microchipped and monthly heartworm preventative
Please note GDRST is an all-volunteer, run by individuals with full time careers. In order to meet with a Dane that you are interested in, please complete our online application. After receiving your application, a volunteer will verify with your vet the care on your current or previous animals and then contact you to set up a home eval and to discuss which Dane may be a match for you.
