Meet Socks

Socks is an active and fun young Cattle dog/Chihuahua mix (DNA tested) weighing about 15 pounds. If you are looking for a big dog in a compact body, Socks is your guy. Socks is new to the sanctuary, but so far has shown to be quiet, smart, athletic, treat/toy motivated with a more reserved and serious disposition. Socks does ignore kitties while on leash, but has shown to chase them inside the home.

All of our animals are up to date on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have had a physical exam. At adoption we provide: veterinary records and vaccine certificates, castration certificate, lifetime lost animal support, one month’s worth of flea medication and heartworm medication, one week’s worth of food, a leash, a collar, an ID tag, and a familiar toy or blanket to help them settle in. We also provide lifetime basic positive training support.
