Even though the details of Snickers’ beginning (and his vision) are hazy, good luck convincing him life isn’t one big party. Snickers is a 9 month old mixed breed pup and the perfect balance of play and couch potato.

Snickers is perfectly content entertaining himself with a toy or curling up with the closest human for an afternoon snooze. He is completely housebroken, comfortable in a crate, past the “puppy-biting” phase, sleeps 9+ hours through the night, goes potty rain or shine, and is food motivated. His ideal home would have a low-to-moderate activity level and humans that don’t like to frequently move the furniture around ...

Snickers is considered blind, but still has some vision. From what we can tell, he can see some movement and changes in light. Once he learns the layout of a space, he romps around with confidence.

He enjoys going for walks, to training classes, and on sniffaris. Snickers has completed Mind Your Manners 1 (basics group class) at Cold Nose Companions and is currently being fostered with a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. He is learning so much everyday and comes with a one-on-one transition/hand-off training session.

Snickers is dog-friendly, but due to his blindness can become overwhelmed with how most dogs interact with him. He may accept a dog sibling, pending a meet and greet, but we feel it’s in Snickers’ best interest to be the only dog in the home. He has also done wonderfully with older children and teenagers.

Snickers is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, 4DX test negative and on monthly preventatives.
