SCOOBY Pit Bull Terrier & Alaskan Malamute Mix Burton, MI

There is nothing like a bond between a man, woman or child and dog. Scooby (also sometimes known as Snaps) has shown his foster family that he can be the smart, loving and loyal best friend that humans need in todays hard world.

Scooby thrives with companionship, cuddling, walks, enrichment, play time & being able to depend upon a routine. Scooby loves meeting new people and dogs. He has excellent body language and is not scared of new people or situations. We could say he is a social butterfly! Scooby is a very smart boy and has learned the commands sit, lay down, come, drop, high five, touch, and focus! He has graduated training classes was said to be the best behaved in his class! The lucky new family that adopts Scooby will be getting a well trained & balanced pup!

We are hoping Scooby's human will love adventures & the outdoors because this handsome boy loves being outside and going on adventures! No matter the weather, he is ready to go and you could not have a better buddy at your side! He loves to play then will come find you to snuggle when he is tired. Scooby plays hard, cuddles harder, aims to please and loves everyone!!!

Scooby is about 8 months old, weighs 48 lbs, is vaccinated, Heartworm negative (on Heartworm & Flea prevention), microchipped, crate trained & house trained. Scooby does great with other dogs, that are his size, and would love doggy daycare if he was to be an only pup. We recommend older kids (8+ years) if there are kids in the home.

Scooby's breed mix description is a according to his Wisdom DNA panel and the results are in! American Pit Bull Terrier 40%, Alaskan Malamute 20%, German Shepherd dog 13%, Boxer 11%, American Staffordshire terrier 10%. Scooby has a thick, beautiful brindle coat that is like a Labrador Retriever's & a thick tail!
