Meet Skylar!
She is a sweet and loving pup. She LOVES kids (actually all the humans) She gives LOTS of love and kisses. She plays hard with our pup, Marcus. But, once her play energy is out she is happy to lay at your feet.
Skylar has come a long way since she left the street life in CA. All she knew was how to survive. She was SO skinny when she arrived in MO. She is filling out nicely, is now housetrained and crate trained (she does prefer to sleep on the couch, chair or floor though).
She has learned many cues such as sit, down, off, drop, outside, kennel.. she is still working on wait, shake and leave it. She loves to play and chew on her toys. She enjoys fetch and wrestling with Journey Home GSD Rescue alum, Marcus. They rest well and play well together most of the time.
She still has some behaviors to work on but she is getting the support and love she needs to work through them. She is a sweet dog, who would love to lay at your feet and soak up all your love and attention after a nice walk or playing in the yard. She does like to talk (most huskys do ?) and does well with kids. Some supervision is needed with little ones though. She is super excited to greet everyone as they come in the door or just from the other room.
If you are wanting a sweet and funny girl to love on, this is your girl. She is just over a year and less than 40 pounds. She is learning how to walk better (less pulling than October) and would love someone to give kisses to everyday.
She is a sweet girl who loves attention. If you work from home she will be happy sleeping at your feet while you work. She is spayed and around a year old. (Guesstimate from shelter and vet).
