Skylar Mixed Breed Troy, NY

Adoptable Underdog Skylar is truly an "ear"resistable dog! She's really the total package: dog-social, human-focused, loving, and eager to learn.

Her current hobbies include taking long walks with her foster mom, snuggling on the couch (preferably under a blanket while binge watching something interesting), and looking impossibly adorable while doing all of it. Even though she's just around two years old, Skylar is still very much a puppy at heart. Her forever family will need to be patient with her at first as she "relearns" all of the good habits she actually knows but forgets to use because, well...she's a big puppy. She thrives with patience and consistency, though!

Skylar can be a bit rude when first meeting new dogs -- she likes to scream her intentions at them from across the room. But she has a history of being quite dog social so we think there's a good chance that she'd enjoy a permanent canine sibling or two. (We do hold multiple meetings of potential canine siblings to ensure that it's a good match, however.) She also lived happily with dog-savvy cats in the past, Skylar would likely do well in a home with respectful children, too.

- up-to-date on all vaccinations and medically healthy
- crate trained and house trained
