Meet Siva

Hi, my name is Siva! I'm a GREEN pawprint, which means I will fit well into a home that meets some specific criteria. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Friendly, calm, gentle giant, independent, a bit nervous/undersocialized but warms to up people quickly
-Can Live with Kids: No history with kids - ages 16+ only
-Can Live with Cats: Has reportedly lived with cats in the past, but chased them. May be okay with a confident and dog-savvy cat, but would likely be overwhelming for most cats. Up to adopter's discretion.
-Can Live with Dogs: Possibly! She would likely do best with a male canine companion who is not too high energy. Introductions would be scheduled to ensure everyone gets along.
-Can do Apartment Living: No way!
-Potty Trained: Yes
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: No
-Energy Level: Medium
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: No
-Additional Information:
Siva is a big girl (125 pounds!!!) looking for someone who's experienced with livestock herding breeds. She's a sweet and calm dog, but can be a bit nervous sometimes - probably because she hasn't experienced much change in her life, so this transition has understandably been tough on her. Siva would do best in a nice quiet home on some property - ie. a farm, a home with a large fenced yard, etc. - where she can go outside as she pleases. She is getting a bit older, so will need to have a warm comfy place to return to once she's done galloping around outside. As a middle-aged large breed dog, Siva will need frequent vet check ups to ensure she's feeling her best.
