Sif Black Labrador Retriever Mix Stockbridge, GA

Meet Sif! SIF is a 13-14 week old lab mix that was rescued from the shelter when he was only 5-6 weeks old and had developed kennel cough. Once out of the shelter, he quickly recovered and is growing into the cutest and sweetest puppy. SIF is currently just under 20 lbs. Not knowing his full parentage, SIF will most likely be 40-50 lbs when grown and may be shorter/stockier than a pure lab.

SIF has a beautiful solid black coat with a brownish sheen in the sun. He loves to play but is low to medium energy. He enjoys playing with other dogs, especially those his size. But since he is still a puppy, he tires quickly and will seek out your lap to sit in (especially if his doggy friends still want to play) or a bed to lay on. He looks up to the larger and older dogs and has learned to respect their boundaries. He also lives with cats, and after barking his hello, he leaves them pretty much well alone.

SIF is still ALL puppy – he chews, he barks, he plays, he sleeps. He is working on potty training but because of his age, does best when taken out regularly and will need more time before he is “accident free”. He is also working on leash training and responds well to being called by whistle (with the promise of treats of course). He does well in the crate, especially at night, and will sleep 7-9 hours. SIF is a loving puppy and will most certainly grow into a loving and loyal companion.

SIF is fully vetted- up to date on all puppy shots, recently neutered and microchipped. He is current on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention. SIF is available locally for meet and greets. He can also be adopted out of state to approved adopters- a transport fee would apply in addition to his adoption fee.
