Rescued: 2/9/2021
Age at the time of rescue: 2 1/2 years
Current weight: 35 pounds
Rescued in the interior of the mountains of Puerto Rico, he had been attacked by a pack of stray dogs. In clear distress and in need of immediate rescue, with the help of volunteers, he was scooped up and immediately had orthopedic femoral head surgery to restore his mobility. Shultz is fully recovered and ready to find his forever home. He is super friendly, loves humans and starving for attention. We've noticed that he prefers to be the only male please. Due to COVID protocols and island overpopulation, we are looking for a home in the upper east coast or Minnesota area where our support teams are located. His adoption fee of $450 covers sterilization, vaccinations and transportation off the island. Thank you in advance for your support.
