Ideal Home: Adults, sturdy kids (due to possible jumping); enjoys tolerant male dogs (tolerant because Shenzi is still working on her manners); no cats.

While we can't really specify Shenzi's specific breed make-up, what we can tell you is that this young, medium-sized brindle girl is as adorable as she is unique. Her mannerisms and play style are puppy-like, and she possesses an endearing goofiness. You may notice from her photos that she has some skin issues, but her inner beauty shines right through. Her skin irritation is due to allergies, which are being managed, and she's doing much better compared to when she first came to us. Shenzi would benefit greatly by being in a household that would either be a foster or foster-to-adopt arrangement; and of course, the best case scenario is a forever, full-on adoption for our sweet Shenzi. She is working with a trainer on basic manners and is doing pretty good with her leash walking. When play time is done, Shenzi loves snuggles with humans.
