Meet Shadowhawk

Shadowhawk is a pretty mellow guy who’s mature and settled. He gets along well with all the other dogs here and doesn’t start any trouble. He’s a smart guy and learned the routine here quickly and just wants to please. Shadowhawk is more then happy to receive attention, and will lean on you for pets (and any treats you might pass his way). We have found out that Hawk is NOT small animal friendly, so no small furry friends for this guy. Shadowhawk is a bit depressed in the adoption kennel, and we would like him to find his home soon. Because he is black and 6 years old, he frequently gets overlooked. He does whine some in his kennel, so may NOT be the best for an apartment or someone who is gone 8 hours a day at work. Shadowhawk would prefer a home where people are around a lot; he is outgoing and sweet, and likes to be near his people. Shadowhawk would be okay with a fenced yard or with an owner committed to on-leash walks. This pretty black boy is waiting for his chance at forever!
