Meet Serena, a beagle-mini Bernese mountain dog hybrid (affectionately known as the Bergle). She was born on 12/16/2023. Fully grown, she is anticipated to be a medium sized.

Serena has a friendly disposition and gives the best greetings. She absolutely loves playing with her sister and other dogs in the foster home and with her toys. She would love another 4 legged family member as a companion. She enjoys the outdoors - running and playing in the yard. In general, Bergles benefit from regular exercise and mental stimulation, such as long walks and hiking. This is something that would be right up Serena’s alley.

For down time and at the end of the day, Serena is a top notch snuggler. She loves to climb onto your lap for a snooze.

Serena is making great strides with potty training. With some consistency, she should be trained in no time. She sleep well in the kennel with her sister.

Overall, the Bernese Mountain Dog Beagle Mix is a lovable and sociable breed, well-suited for households with children and other pets. Serena seems to fit this mold well. Providing proper care, training, and other engaging in activities will ensure her well-being and happiness in her forever home.

Serena is up to date on age appropriate vaccines, including rabies.

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.

All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.

We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
