Meet Scarlett!
Scarlett is a fun-loving girl with lots of love to give despite all she has been through in her short life. This lil' momma came from Fresno, Ca heavily pregnant and expected to give birth any day! After a week with no progress and miserable momma the foster family took Scarlett for an ultrasound where we got the news she was carrying 9+ pups! Another week went by before she went into labor, after hours of pushing the first puppy was born. Several more hours of non fruitful pushing the foster momma knew something was wrong and rushed her to the emergency vet. With puppy heart rates were declining and puppy #2 stuck it was time for c-section. We are very thankful for this decision, as her uterus was being ruptured. 9 healthy babies were born and were happily back at home with their loving foster. 12 days later this poor momma developed mastitis even starting her treatments one of her mammary glands ruptured and she was taken for an emergency mastectomy!
Scarlett has recovered from her surgeries and is done caring for her pups! It is now her turn to find happiness in a loving home of her own where she can enjoy being a pup herself! She is a friendly and affectionate pup who loves to play and explore. Scarlett is loyal to her loved ones and will always be by your side. She is an athletic dog, who would love to go on walks and adventures (especially involving water!!)with her forever family! She would do better with older or dog savvy kiddos as she does jump when excited. Scarlett is sure to keep you smiling with her funny antics and is awaiting her forever family! Could it be you?
