Meet Scarlett
Meet Scarlett!
Foster dad says " She is a nice social puppy. She is very curious about things going on and wants to be included. She will push her way into treat time to the point she is trying to be the first to receive a treat. She is learning "sit" but it usually take 3 or 4 tries before she complies. All in all, she would fit really well with a family with older children. She also is a huge snuggle-bug"
Here is another video of her in her foster home: https://youtube.com/shorts/R32KtJ4hvU8?feature=share
Basics: She is a female guessed to be around 3 months old and she currently weighs close to 15lbs. She is currently in a foster home in Dyer, IN with 4 other small dogs.
Adoption Process:
- Please fill out our adoption application: https://www.dayofthedogs.org/adoption-application
- One of our team members will get back to you via phone.
- Our dogs can be seen by appointment only. We do not have a facility at this time. Dogs are in foster homes or boarding
- Adoption fee helps to cover transport costs, spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, fecal, initial worming, and microchip.
-We do not place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt. NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available.
About Us: Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit that is dedicated to helping shelters increase live release. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports per month from TX, OK and AR to NW Indiana/Chicagoland and the Kansas City area. We do direct adoptions ourselves out of Dyer, IN area and partner with 12 other rescues and shelters in both IL and IN that are willing to help southern pets in need. We rely on donations to help fund our ongoing transports. Please donate if you can. Every dollar adds up and we are grateful for any help we can get: https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/DayoftheDogs
