Sawyer is fostered in Goderich

Sawyer's initial foster mom's daughter wrote this:

Hi! My name is Sawyer.
Aka Soy.
I will stare into your soul with my deep brown beautiful eyes.
I’m a 1-2ish year old handsome boy seeking humans and food.

I will do almost anything for food.

I’m cool with cats and humans of most sizes.

I am a big boy and I still like to jump when I’m excited so people as tall as me would be best.

My foster parents have 2 dogs both big and tiny and I love to play with them.

I think I’m protective of my foster parent's and their dog's property tho (cause) when strange dogs come over, I’m not sure how to feel.

I think I would be totally fine meeting in a neutral setting.

I love long walks pulling you to wherever I want to go.
My foster mom and dad ask me to slow down, but I am just so darn excited, I can’t help it.

I don’t see much of a problem tho, because my 10&11 year old kids can keep up.

Once I begin my walks and see that one of my foster humans have treats in their pocket, I slow down and stay close just in case some happen to fall out.

I am still learning how to live in a house.

I don’t ever have any accidents inside.

I will bring you a loaf of bread or bananas if left out on the counter.

Right now my favourite part is laying upside down on the couch, mostly because I’m not sure how to get on, so I slide or jump over the back and that’s how I land.

I love trying to sit on my foster familys lap although they say my legs are pokey and I need to relax a bit.

My party trick is folding like a taco in my fosters parents bed.
My butt can actually touch my nose, I swear!!

My favourite place to sleep is in my crate with a soft blanket.
Once I’m there, snuggled up, I’m done for the night with no messes but Don’t worry, I will let you know if I need to go outside.

I LOVE the outdoors.

My foster mom thinks I like to adventure too much tho.

When I first came to my foster house this summer, I used to find a way out of any fence.
I would let my brother out and head out on adventures with him.
Now, I am super content having a real home behind a fence.

When it’s bed time, I do a few laps around the yard and head inside all on my own.

I’m told that I’m starting to be a very good boy.

I’m looking for my forever home.
I love my foster home and it’s so fun, but I’m getting to the age where I would love a place to call home and relax for the rest of my life.

Do you have room in your life for me?
Some extra time to show me a life of love, patience and cuddles?

To apply please go to the adoption application at www.adoptapet.lucknow.on.ca and complete a dog adoption application under the tab for applications

His adoption fee is $600 to help cover some of the costs for his 3 vet visits
