Meet Sassy

Sassy or sass-a-fras has been waiting patiently for her forever home. Sassy was an owner surrender due to the owner having too many animals. Come to find out, years prior Sassy was dumped at a truck stop in New Mexico. Long story short, Sassy is here with us. She is believed to be a dachshund mix about 7 years old and has the absolute softest fur, it’s like velvet.

Sassy is crate and house trained. She’s good with other dogs, but isn’t afraid to put one in its place if it’s annoying her. She used to be good with cats, but was a little to ‘interested’ in a kitten that was kenneled near her.

I think she would be fine with older kids who know and respect animals and are not very handsy.
