Meet Sarge
Sarge is an adult male German Shepherd. He’s about 100 lbs, strong but behaves well for staff and volunteers. We definitely recommend an adopter who is familiar with the breed, and a slow introduction with Sarge. Not tested with kids or cats.
Sarge had a couple of lumps removed from his neck since he’s been with us, one was cancerous but the vet reported he got it all out.
Please call the Ashland County Dog Shelter at 419 289-1455 to schedule a meet and greet! Adoption hours are Tuesday-Friday 8am to 6pm. Hours may vary on holiday weeks.
Each $175 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, current dog license, heartworm test, microchip, collar and leash.
All dogs are listed as spayed/ neutered indicating that will be done as part of the adoption process if not already done at the time of posting. **Most shelter dogs are difficult to classify as house-trained or not due to they often have to wait long times between potty breaks**
