Meet Sarge
Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Sarge was found abandoned at a local apartment complex and found by an employee at our local vets office. His owners were eventually found but they informed us that they did not want him anymore due to their busy lives. Sarge is approximately 1 years old, up to date on vaccinations, neutered/spayed, on prevention & microchipped.
Sarge has interacted well with dogs of all sizes and shapes! He is a total ham and is eager to flourish in a home setting!
Sarge is house trained, kennel trained & knows his basic commands/manners.

Cane Haven Rescue will transport any of their adoptable dogs to the right home. We do require adoption fees that are based on the age & health status of the adoptable dog. The adoption fee covers every single dog in CHR with vaccinations, heartworm test, deworming, microchip, spay/neuter & medications. All CHR adoptable dogs are current on their monthly heartworm and flea medication. CHR takes pride that we do not place dogs on a first serve, first come basis. We strategically place animals in their forever home to ensure that they have found their forever. A CHR representative will do a home check, vet reference check and personal reference check to ensure the pets are placed in a secure and loving home.
