Meet Sara

This little lady was found on a country road. We think someone dumped her. It took a little while to catch her, but some very kindhearted people finally caught her, and we were able to bring her into our foster/adoption program.

Sara was very skittish at first, but just look at her now! She is super friendly and a little snuggle bug. Her foster family is able to walk her off leash on their property, and she responds well to voice commands and stays with them while they're walking. She is learning all of her commands very quickly. She knows sit, stay, come, and down. She even sits and waits for her food. What a good girl!!

Sara is currently living with another foster dog, Spot. (See Spot's Petfinder profile). When the two girls were introduced, they immediately loved each other. They are almost exactly the same size at 35-36lbs.

Sarah is about 1.5 years old; we believe that she needs a fenced in yard for room to run and play or land in the country where she can go on long walks with her person or family. She also loves swimming in the pond.

Sara is so sweet and is so thankful just to be loved. She deserves a good second chance at life. We hope you will consider giving her a good, forever home.
