Meet Sanford. He is one of the 8 puppies born to Mama Elias, the Mountain range named litter. Sanford is the only chocolate puppy in the litter. Elias is a small terrier mix. She was rescued from the Giles County shelter with her new born babies. She is a very friendly, great natured dog who loves everyone she meets. Momma is about 20-22 pounds. Based on what the pups look like, we believe they may be Lab mix. Since Mom is so small, we think the pups will be 25-40 pounds range. They were born 11/28/23 and will start being dispersed to foster homes no later than 1/10/24. Their mom is already over nursing them at 5 weeks so we are giving them until 6 weeks. They will need to go to fosters in pairs or more as they need to socialize with another sibling at least until 8 weeks.

Sanford's adoption fee is $400. This will cover his parvo/distemper shot, rabies, bordatella, neuter, microchip and heartworm test. The final vetting with all but the parvo shots will be done around 6 months of age around May 2024. He has been dewormed multiple times as well and will be started on flea/tick prevention soon.
