Sandy Corgi & Shepherd Mix Springfield, MO

Hey there, I'm Sandy! Life's been a journey, and now I'm here at the Humane Society ready to find my forever home. I was found wandering the streets as a stray, my hair full of mats and tangles. I had to get a medical shave to remove them, but don't worry, the hair will grow back! I feel sooo much better and am now ready to take on a forever family of my very own.

Here's a little more about me: I am a 9 year old Corgi mix. I'm a lady of leisure! I love to lounge, bask in the quiet moments, and enjoy a good cuddle. I'll be your loyal companion, your confidante, your friend. I can be a bit protective of my food, so I would do best in a home with no kids. But hey, who isn't a little possessive of their favorite things and who doesn't like food, right? With patience, understanding, and lots of love, we can work through it together. I promise I'll fill your home with warmth and affection. My favorite thing to do is to lounge on my bed. I still have a pep in my step, but I'm past the days of puppy energy. I may be a senior, but my heart is full of youthful love! Will you come visit me?

At the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, our goal is to match potential adopters with a pet that is best suited to their home, interests, and lifestyle. All of our animals are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, given flea/tick prevention, and dewormer.
