Hi, I'm Sandy! I'm about 1 year and 8 months old and weigh 66 pounds.

Do you like dogs? I'd like to start out meeting calm dogs who prefer a coexisting relationship. I have not appreciated other dogs being forward and in my face. Please bring any dogs in the home to meet to see how we get along!

Cats? I have a high prey drive and should not live with kitties.

Kids? I've been a bit nervous and fearful with new folks. I'd like to start out meeting kids 10+. Please bring any kiddos in the home to meet.

Anything else you'd like us to know, Sandy? I'm quite stressed here at the shelter, but am super sweet once I have a chance to relax and get to know you! I can't wait to be your adventure buddy for life!

I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption.

It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption.

My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!

ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license.
