Sandy Black Mouth Cur Mix Green Bay, WI

Sandy is a 5 month old black mouth curr mix who weighs 40 lbs. She was found on the streets of Texas with her sibling who unfortunately passed away. Sandy had a rough start to life, navigating the streets as a puppy, her finder was going to shoot her but luckily rescuers stepped in and helped her. Sandy is a parvo survivor and has proven herself to be a strong little lady. She headed to Wisconsin to put her past behind her and find that family who will give her all the love. (and belly rubs)

Sandy takes a little while to warm up to people and because of this we will place her on a two week foster-to-adopt trial. She is most comfortable having another dog friend so her new family must have a companion for her and a fully fenced yard. Because she can be a bit nervous she also needs to go to a home with no small children. Sandy is doing great with potty training and is completely kennel trained. She loves to be outside and is excited for the new experience of snow! She enjoys playing fetch, running around with other dogs, and chewing on squeaky toys. Sandy really just wants to be with her humans, whether that means following them around the house to see what they are up to, or snuggling up on the couch for a belly rub.
