12 weeks and 27 lb chocolate lab pup. He loves spending time outside, exploring every nook and cranny, and will always return for a quick love pat before bounding off again. With his floppy ears and boundless energy, Samwise is sure to bring joy to any household.

Samwise enjoys finding hiding spots for his toys and treasures, and his playful puppy antics never fail to bring a smile to your face.
Samwise quickly adapted to his new surroundings, though his eagerness to play sometimes takes precedence over cuddles. However, he's learning to appreciate quiet moments of affection more each day.

Likes: Tennis balls, beginner food puzzles, plush toys that crinkle or squeak. Samwise's favorite activities include running through tunnels, playing chase, and engaging in tug-of-war games.

Dislikes: Forceful handling and excessive time spent in his crate.

Vocalization/Anxiety: While generally peaceful, Samwise is capable of vocalizing when he misses his humans or wants out of his crate. He prefers to be around people and enjoys being part of the action.

Energy Level: Samwise is a playful puppy with bursts of energy mixed with calmer nap times. He enjoys exploring the world around him and is improving on leash walking.
Shared walls might not be ideal due to Samwise's vocal nature. A fenced yard would be recommended to allow him to roam and explore safely.

Samwise thrives in an environment where his need for training, play, exploration, and social development is understood and advocated for. He's looking for a loving family who can provide him with the guidance and attention he deserves.

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 90-mile radius of Minneapolis; however, we will consider up to 250 miles if the applicant is willing to drive to cities as needed.
