Sampson, the senior Pomeranian, is in search of a loving home where he can feel safe and stable. Despite the trauma he has been through, he is settling into his new environment well. Sampson has been moved several times during his rehabilitation process, but efforts have been made to minimize the disruptions. He loves getting pets and is looking for a home with a fenced yard or the ability to go for regular walks. Experience with rescue dogs who need extra care and attention after facing tragic circumstances would be beneficial. Although not fully potty trained, Sampson wears a diaper indoors and is making progress in going outside. Medically cleared and in good health after receiving thorough care including blood work, dental work, grooming, vaccines, and testing, Sampson is now a sturdy and happy little companion ready for a forever home.
