Meet Sam
Sam is a 7 yr old , 46 pound Shep mix looking for love. He is dog friendly, healthy and house-trained.
Sam is a great walking buddy and some days he enjoys a game of ball. Other days he just enjoys strolling and sniffing. He has an easy energy, perfect for someone who isn't high energy either!
Sam was in the same home from the time he was 7 weeks old until he was 7 years old and found himself surrendered to a country shelter. He was very anxious when he was rescued ...of course he was, his world was turned upside down. But within a few days he began to trust us and he is flourishing now. He does still have nervous moments occasionally, so we do not want to place him with young children.
He would enjoy a home with calm people who will enjoy his company and care for him for the next 7 years ! He has lots of love to offer and all he asks for in exchange is stability and security ...,and kibble! He likes snacks?! If you are looking for an easy companion, please apply to meet Sam!
