Meet Sahiri! Sahiri is a gentle soul who is great with respectful kids aged 13 years or older. She may be a bit shy and timid at first, but with the right amount of love, patience, and understanding, she'll come out of her shell and show her true colors. Sahiri is a pup who needs a home that can provide her with a calm and nurturing environment. She may be very afraid initially, so it's important to give her the space and time she needs to feel comfortable and secure. With consistent positive reinforcement and gentle encouragement, Sahiri will gradually build her confidence and trust. In her new home, she will thrive with a family who can offer her plenty of patience and understanding. It's crucial to create a safe and predictable routine for her, as it will help her feel secure and develop a sense of belonging. With lots of love, gentle guidance, and a calm atmosphere, Sahiri will gradually overcome her fears and become a loving and loyal companion. Remember, every dog is unique, and it's important to tailor the approach to their individual needs. Sahiri's shy and timid nature may require some extra care and attention, but with the right family, she will flourish into a happy and confident pup. She's a special dog who deserves all the love and patience in the world.


All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption.

An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption.

Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family.

Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals or how large puppies will be when fully grown.
