Meet Sadie, a beagle-mini Bernese mountain dog hybrid (affectionately known as the Bergle). She was born on 12/16/2023. Fully grown, she is anticipated to be a medium sized.

Sadie has a sweet, affectionate disposition. She loves to be held. She is a little shy at first but it doesn’t last long when she knows someone is going to hold or play with her.

Sadie LOVES toys of all kind. She proudly carries them into her pen whenever she can. She loves playing with her sister and is starting to play with the other dogs in her foster home. Sadie enjoys going outside as long as someone is with her - another dog or human. If Sadie is an only dog, socializing with other dogs to build her confidence would be beneficial.

If you’re down for some TV time or a nap, Sadie will be your best companion. She loves to cuddle!

Sadie is making great strides with her potty training. With some consistency, she should be trained in no time. She sleep well in the kennel with her sister.

Overall, the Bernese Mountain Dog Beagle Mix is a lovable and sociable breed, well-suited for households with children and other pets. Providing proper care, training, and other engaging in activities ensures the Bergle’s well-being and happiness in their forever home.

Sadie is up to date on age appropriate vaccines, including rabies.

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.

All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.

We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
