Meet Ryker

Ryker is a very handsome young guy, approximately 3 years old. He is a beautiful brindle pit mix. Ryker has shown he has the ability to learn when worked with consistently. He will sit and shake for treats. He is very playful does great with both our male and female volunteers. He has bonded with another little shelter guy, Fiddler! They love to play together out in the pen. A meet and greet would be necessary for any potential fur friend in the home. We don't recommend a home with small children for Ryker.

Please call the Ashland County Dog Shelter at 419 289-1455 to schedule a meet and greet! Adoption hours are Tuesday-Friday 8am to 6pm.
Each $175 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, current dog license, heartworm test, microchip, collar and leash.

Shelter dogs are difficult to assess for being house trained due to they have to go long times between potty breaks.
