Meet Ryder
This handsome boy is Ryder!
Ryder is an approximately 19-week old male Labrador/Catahoula mix and will weigh around 50-60 lbs. as an adult (best guess). He was rescued as a stray in the country.
Ryder can be shy on first meeting and will need a home who will be patient with him as he becomes more socialized. He is just now getting used to living in a home and being around people. But, you can tell that he really wants to trust and bond with people.
He will come by and check on you just to see what you are up to, stay for a few pets, and then be on his way play with the other dogs or just by himself. He does find comfort with other dogs, so he needs another playful dog in the home. Ryder has a curious side and loves to investigate the yard, so he needs a securely fenced back yard to snoop around in!
Ryder loves other dogs and very much wants to play with them. He is on the submissive side with other dogs. He loves to get some belly rubs and rump bumps!
Ryder is crate-trained and finds comfort in his crate. He will need continued assistance with house-training but has learned to use the doggy door. He is not leash-trained so he will need you to be patient with him as he learns.
Ryder is neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200.
