Rusty German Shepherd Dog Mix Mount Enterprise, TX

Hi, my name is Rusty. I am a handsome fellow who is a German Shepherd mix. I think I am at least 3 years old. I am up to date on my vaccines, neutered and heart worm negative. I am currently being fostered in East Texas about 30 minutes north of Nacogdoches, TX.

I found myself abandoned in Houston, TX during Hurricane Harvey. I was pretty scared and admit I was not very cooperative with those who were trying to help me get to safety.

I am looking for a family or human who will have lots of patience with me. I am still a little scared when I meet new people and especially new dogs. I like people but just need to know that I can trust them. I also can get a long with other dogs who are calm and submissive. I need a family who will love me, not make me a backyard ornament, play with me and never abandon me.

I like to run around the yard and chase balls and rope toys. I can sit and shake.
