Meet Russell
ADOPTED!!
Introducing RUSSELL, a 8.60 pound poodle who is 18 months old. I selected his breed as a Toy Poodle but I know toy poodles do not exceed 7 pounds so RUSSELL has to be a miniature poodle. He is still very small and looks extra small because he had to be shaved completely as he was horribly matted from head to toe.
The vet estimates RUSSELL to be about 18 months old. We think he has been fending for himself on the streets for a while. He was so happy to be rescued and after a bath the first night you could tell he felt better. But after he was groomed he started dancing around and barking to be picked up and loved on. It was funny and cute. The beginning of RUSSELL's new life has started.
RUSSELL gets along with all the dogs in the foster home but tends to be a little submissive. He is not aggressive in any area and shares his food bowl with everyone. I do NOT have any cats in the home so I am not sure how he would do with one. He walks really well on a leash and rides in the car without getting sick.
He likes to cuddle and sleeps all night. He is not potty trained so I am already working on that.
