Meet Ruger

Ruger came to us as a surrender from a homeless situation.

He is definitely a love bug and will bond super easily with his owner. We recently had to perform an eye surgery on him for an entropic eyelid. His lower eyelid rolled in on his eye and his eyelashes caused severe irritation. We don't know how long he has been living with it. When we neutered him we also performed the surgery that hopefully will correct that condition. He currently needs eye drops in his one eye. We are hoping it won't be permanently but it may be.

Ruger is a sweet, affectionate dog good with children, good with other animals, good with all adults. And in typical Chihuahua style he is protective and informative when strangers appear.

He would be a wonderful companion for retired person or someone with an large extended family to spoil him.
