Royal Hound & Labrador Retriever Mix Bedford, VA

Royal is a rescue stray from the county animal shelter. He was found with his sister in the Town of Bedford. It is estimated that he was born in December 2020. He is a big boy of 50 pounds at 6 months of age. He has a beautiful shiny red coat and a warm heart of gold. With so many rescue animals, Royal has not been taught any boundaries or commands. His foster home is teaching him not to potty in his kennel, walk on a leash, sit before he gets his food and not to jump up on his people. Royal needs a home that is interested in taking this warm hearted sweet boy and turning him into a wonderful companion. Royal would probably do fine with a teen child that is a strong leader so that Royal does not revert back to jumping on his people and to keep him learning commands. It would be nice for Royal to have a nice fenced yard to play in but walking on a leash or long lead is important to continue in Royal’s learning to be a great companion.
Royal has been dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and tested for Heartworm and Tick Born Diseases.
