ROUX - in NYC & Ready for a Meet & Greet Chihuahua Mix New York, NY

This is ROUX! She’s a chihuahua mix…with something! We call her Roux because she’s a roux (a mix) of many things! Is she a fox? Kangaroo? We don’t know!

She is currently being fostered in Brooklyn, NY and is ready for a meet and greet with prospective adopters!

She is ~10 months old as of December 2023, and likely a little younger according to our vet, and about 8 lbs (give or take).

Roux lovesssss people and really thrives with company! She is currently in a home with another pup who she loves and they do everything together. She loves going on pack walks with her foster sibling and some of the foster mom’s friend’s pups.

She’s great with her harness and loves to walk around the park (she loves Central Park and Prospect Park!). Ok, we’ll be honest, she actually does NOT walk - she CANTERS! That seems to be her only speed at the moment! Haha! If you love to walk around, she would love to come canter with you and can keep up without issue.

She’s a typical happy chihuahua! Loves other dogs, and plays a lot! She enjoys tossing her carrot toy up in the air and amusing herself, tossing it around and running for it. She also enjoys wrestling with her foster brother.

She’s a fashionista who enjoys her outfits from fleeces to tutus (please ask is for some videos - she’s a total hoot!).

She’s EXCELLENT about doing her business outside!

She is good with cats too; that has been tested.
