Hello, there I am Rousey a 4-year-old Hound/ Pit Mix! I weigh around 60 pounds and I am just the most loving gal you will ever meet! Why am I here? I need to be your ONLY pet and no children in the home, please.

I come off as a bit timid, I hardly ever bark even in kennels. I love the snow as you can see. My hair is a bit short so a jacket does help me stay out a bit longer. I love cuddle time where I can curl up on our couch and you read me a story or we watch our favorite shows. I need to catch up on Pit Bulls and Parolees! That's a favorite of mine! I would make an excellent co-piolet anywhere we went I just wouldn't do too well at a dog park or inside Petco. But that's okay! Maybe there is someone out there that's just a lone wolf such as myself and we could be together! I dream of this every night and when I awake in the morning I hope today is the day someone calls about me!

I was super depressed and confused when I got here. I wouldn't eat until day 2 when someone handfed me, I just laid there wondering what I did to deserve this. Unfortunately, my living situation didn't work out with NO fault to my owners whatsoever. Sadly, I need a completely different living situation.

Adoption fee is based on age:
Puppies 8 weeks through 7 months are $400
Dogs 8 months through 7 years are $325
Senior dogs over 8 years are $125
Seniors for Seniors (Seniors 65+ adopting over 8 years): $75

All adoptable dogs are spayed and neutered, have age and time appropriate vaccines, microchipped and heartworm tested. Other medical care provided might include treatments for fleas, ear mites, dental work or infections or other medical conditions. Additional vaccinations and medical care (including puppies Rabies shots if adopted at under 12 weeks of age) will be the responsibility of the adopter.

Note: As with all of our dogs, we strongly recommend obedience classes for new owner and dog to create a life-long bond with the adopted dog based on trust, respect, and rewarding training experiences. Our shelter dogs are strays and we observe and assess their behavior at the shelter which may be somewhat different in a home environment.
