Meet Rosy
Rosy is a 4.5-year-old spayed female chocolate lab, weighs 69 pounds and is up to date on shots. Needs a rural or suburban single-family home with no fence required. Good with dogs. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.
Rosy is a lovely girl who was born on a breeding farm and is now ready for a future befitting her name. She’s been wandering the farm smelling the daisies, but she’s also raised two litters of puppies each year since she was two. Rosy has been good with other dogs on the farm, but it’s time for her to say goodbye to green acres and hello to a rosier life in a home where she can enjoy being pampered. She will need to learn about navigating doors, walking on a lead, relishing tasty treats, and settling into comfy sofas, but she’s up for the challenge.
This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. Lab Rescue LRCP rescues and places dogs in Maryland, Virginia, District of Columbia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and North Carolina. Adopters must travel to Maryland, or Virginia with their family - human and canine - to meet the dog they want to adopt.
Lab Rescue LRCP has more than 60 dogs available for adoption from foster homes across Maryland and Virginia, and at monthly adoption events. The adoption event dates and locations are listed at www.lab-rescue.org.
If you are interested in adopting, please visit www.lab-rescue.org and complete an adoption application. After you submit an application, you will hear from an Adoption Coordinator who will guide you through the adoption process.
An adoption fee is charged to help cover the cost of veterinary care, and a reference check and a home visit is required.
